Accessibility Statement
Our accessibility statement explains how we aim to make patient portal guides readable, mobile-friendly, and easier to navigate.
Accessibility Statement
mychart-health.org/ aims to make patient portal information easier to read, navigate, and understand for users on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Accessibility is especially important for healthcare-related information because patients may be stressed, mobile, older, visually impaired, using assistive technology, or trying to help a family member.
Accessibility Goals
- Clear headings and logical page structure.
- Readable paragraphs and short sections.
- Mobile-friendly layouts with responsive tables.
- High contrast design and visible action areas.
- Descriptive link text where practical.
- Plain-language explanations for technical or portal-related topics.
- Warnings that are easy to notice before users share information or follow links.
External Accessibility Limits
Some official healthcare organization portals, PDF forms, maps, app stores, or third-party billing pages are outside our control. We cannot fix external accessibility issues, but we can improve our own explanations and link labels when readers report a problem.
How to Report an Accessibility Issue
Email contact@mychart-health.org with the page URL, device, browser, assistive technology if relevant, and a description of what was difficult to use. Do not include medical details or portal credentials. We manually review accessibility reports and improve the page where practical.
Need Official Portal Accessibility Help?
If the accessibility problem is on an official patient portal, billing page, or healthcare organization website, contact that organization’s support team or accessibility contact because they control the official system.
Information-Only Reminder
mychart-health.org/ is an independent informational guide. We are not Epic, MyChart, a hospital, a clinic, a health insurance company, a billing office, an emergency service, or a healthcare provider. Always use your official healthcare organization's MyChart portal, official website, phone number, or patient support team for account-specific help, medical decisions, billing actions, appointments, refills, test results, and urgent care needs.
