Use this login for Roper St. Francis Healthcare MyChart tasks: results, appointments, billing, messages, refills, communication preferences and virtual care.

Expect two-factor authentication

Roper says MyChart login requires two-factor authentication starting June 23, 2025. You may need to verify email and phone, then enter a code sent by email or text.

Roper Hospital is downtown at 316 Calhoun Street. Check directions and parking before you leave, especially for appointments near medical office buildings or hospital services.

Local tip: lab hours vary

Hospitals may be open 24 hours, but lab hours are different by location. For example, Roper Hospital lab hours are listed as Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Local tip: virtual care has limits

On-demand MyChart video visits can help with minor non-emergency problems. Chest pain, severe bleeding, facial drooping, paralysis or numbness require 911 or an ER.

Use Apple App Store or Google Play. Do not install APK files, copied apps or unofficial medical apps.

Select the correct organization

Search for Roper St. Francis Healthcare. Do not choose a different Saint Francis, Franciscan, or Roper-related result unless it matches your provider.

Know feature limits

The MyChart app can support messages, results, appointments, estimates, bills and record sharing, but exact features depend on what Roper enables.

Before 2FA setup

• Confirm your email address is correct.
• Confirm your mobile phone number is correct.
• Use a private device when possible.
• Never share your verification code.

If the code does not arrive

Use Roper’s schedule page for selected specialties that offer online scheduling.

Specialties not online

For specialties that do not offer online scheduling, request an appointment, use Find a Doctor, or call 843-402-CARE (2273).

Good uses for messages

• Ask non-urgent questions about recent care.
• Clarify follow-up instructions.
• Ask about refillable medication requests.
• Review provider comments after test results.
• Ask about routine appointment questions.

Do not use messages for

• Chest pain or pressure.
• Severe bleeding.
• Facial drooping, paralysis or numbness.
• Severe injury or sudden change in function.
• Any situation needing 911 or an emergency room.

Use MyChart if you want to review statements and pay from your account.

Pay as Guest

The official Pay as Guest page explains that a visit account groups charges for insurance and usually represents billing activity for a single visit.

Billing support

Call 888-472-0043 for billing questions, itemized bills, payment concerns and help understanding financial-assistance routes.

What you need

A MyChart account, internet connection and a smartphone, tablet or computer with web camera, microphone and speaker.

Common conditions

Roper lists minor, non-life-threatening issues such as colds, cough, allergies, sinus infection, pink eye, rash, fever, sore throat, nausea, diarrhea and urinary burning.

Payment prep

The official page says you may be required to pay for the visit, so have a credit card or bank account information available on the official MyChart screen.

Who can request records

Roper lists patients requesting their own records, parents of minor patients, and caregivers acting on behalf of a patient, such as Power of Attorney.
